A French university with core R&D activity in textile offers its technological and management knowledge to companies, R&D entities for transnational partnerships such as technical cooperation and common EU projects in R&D&I.
Textiles are issued from natural fibers (cotton, wool, linen, sugar beet...), whom origins are therefore renewable. These materials can be used for another uses than clothing, the laboratory studying possible conversion for medical (biocompatibility, cicatrization) or military uses for instance.

Industrial processes can generate high environmental impact and pollution. The research activity can enable a switch from a limited raw material to renewable resources, and study also possible solutions to smooth the impacts via an analysis of the life cycle.

Innovative Aspects:
Using natural materials for specific/innovative uses thanks to specific properties and less environmental impact. Accompany organizations and companies all along their strategic move to sustainability with a (both technological and management) support via a complete diagnostic.
