Innovative Computer Aided Engineering Technology (09 GB 77dz 3EHS)
A UK Company has developed and licensed world-leading technology in morphing and manipulating for geometry, surface and volume meshes for Computer Aided Engineering (CAE). The company is seeking partners to licence these tools as software components to be embedded within existing proprietary software packages and for further development.
Country: United Kingdom Type: OFFER Date: 28.07.2010
The company seeks partnership opportunities with proprietary software developers throughout the field of Computer Aided Engineering, including Computer Aided Design, Computer aided Manufacturing, Computational fluid dynamics, Finite Element structural Analysis.

The unique technology can be used to control polygon geometry and meshes. At the art of the technology are patent pending morphing algorithms such that any mesh model can be manipulated quickly and easily. A unique morphing ability has been developed that combines very accurate control of the geometrical parameters with extremely fast mesh deformation that can fully integrated within a CAE environment

The company is interested in software licensing opportunities, and mutually beneficial joint development and ventures.

Innovative Aspects:
Key benefits include:

- Intuitive, real-time geometry control for freeform design of shapes meshes and polygon-based geometry. Exact geometry.

- Direct manipulation of design in the CFD,FEA or CAM domain: mould designs without re-meshing.

-The mesh morphing algorithms provide a step-change in engineering simulation capability.

-The technology is significantly ahead of the current commercial state-of the-art.

-The algorithms have a 100-fold computational memory and a 100-fold time reduction capability compared to other deformation tools.

- The methods are extremely robust and mesh quality is guaranteed

Degree of development:
