An Italian company has designed and patented a new type of disposable bottle for beverages packaging and consumption. Turning the bottle upside down, you have a nice glass to drink your beverage. This bottle has a normal shape but the cap is on the bottom. In order to drink the contained beverage the bottle has to be turned upside down and the cap must be unscrewed. The same cap could be used as a base for the glass putting it on the neck. In this way the bottle become a glass. The bottle-glass could be made in different recyclable materials and could be used for diverse types of beverages. At the 38th International exhibition of invetions of Geneva 21/25 april 2010 the product won the premiun "The best Italian idea and design in the world".

Innovative Aspects:
In one only product you have the normal functions of a bottle and you have also a glass. This product has hygienic advantages depending on its disposable use and on the fact that the bottom could be covered with a removable protecting plastic seal.
Moreover this bottle could be a way to develop respect for environment for the saving of water and detergents habitually consumed washing glasses.
It could be very useful in all those situations where it is necessary a quick service especially in restricted spaces like plane or train.
In addiction, it could represent a new way to serve beverages in bars, discotheques, hotels, concerts and it could correspond to a new marketing strategy of any type of beverage company which would like to give a new product to final consumer.
