It is a well known medical fact that back pain sufferers should be encouraged to sleep in the semi foetal postion with a cushion between their knees, particularly pregnant women in the third trimester of their pregnancy. The problem is that they use ordinary cushions or pillows which are totally unsuitable. They are too bulky, move out of position, compact and cause perspiration and soreness.
The developed product is easy to use and takes the form of a small scientifically designed cushion which is retained in position between the sleeper's knees with a special sock.
It is semi-disposable and currently has a useful life of 3 to 4 months.
The device has also proved beneficial to people suffering from conditions such as sciatica and fibromyalgia.
