In cold weather conditions, especially at or below 0°C, the frostbite effect observed on the body extremities (hands/feet) is mostly due to the decline of blood circulation in these areas of the human body.

The Turkish R&D company has developed a body temperature regulator solution against cold and frost effects that is effective as a protection against this condition. The bio molecular compounds in the solution effectively stimulate the blood circulation when applied topically on the nails of hands/feet, therefore help to protect against frostbite effect via increasing the local temperature in these body areas. The action mechanism of the product is based on the stimulation of the various receptors located on the skin, thereby prevents the decline of blood circulation in the extremities and helps to protect against frostbite effect even conditions below 0°C.

The R&D process of the product has been undertaken at a technopolis area and its effectiveness has been evaluated at the Molecular Biology and Nanotechnology laboratories. Patenting and licensing procedures are under progress. Furthermore, in order to expand the product portfolio, R&D is under progress for developing topical gel/cream forms of the product.
