This application makes use of the latest technology to allow healthcare providers to communicate easily and effectively with the General Practitioners whilst at the same time saving on communication costs. This application is an online software application that bridges the gap between hospital and referring the General Practitioner. In today's IT enabled world, traditional mail has been replaced by email, fixed line telephony replaced by mobile and IP communication. The application makes use of the latest technology to allow healthcare providers to communicate easily and effectively with the General Practitioners whilst at the same time saving on communication costs.
When the General Practitioners refer patients to a hospital / clinic they expect to be kept informed of any investigation and / or required treatments, so that they can offer the correct follow up to their patients.
The application is a custom designed online application which can be used by any hospital medical department to post online patient reports to their referring the General Practitioner. The system has been designed keeping ease of use and data security as top priorities. Some of the departments which could make use of the application includes:
" The Radiology Department for posting of digital radiology images such as X-Rays, MRIs, CTs, Mammograms, and Specialist Reports."
