SIMULATORS FOR WELDING TRAINING PURPOSES (09 ES 28F9 3EG3)
A Spanish company has designed, developed and manufactured an innovative simulator to serve the training of new welders. They allow replacing an important percentage of the practise classes, which makes them profitable for the training centres as well as attractive to the students.

This innovative welding simulator technology has been conceived with the aim of facilitating the learning and they can be used individually or in groups, integrating the theory and the practice.
It reproduces a real welding equipment, including all its controls (adjustement of intensity, voltage, etc) The controls have the same functionality and feel as in a real equipment.
The image for the student is generated in 3D glasses, who find himself located in a virtual welding cabin. This image the student sees is reproduced on a 19" screen, generally located on the Central Unit so that the instructor and the rest of the students can observe the performance of the practice.
For the welding process, it is used a real control adapted for its use in the simulator. It also has a keyboard and a mouse to explore the menu and access the different options.
The simulator includes a group of software programs developed by the Spanish company that allow a simulation in real time and with great realism.
The main features are as follows:
- Welding processes: Manual metal arc and MIG/MAG welding.
- Tube or plate welder.
- Welding in every position.
- Varied exercises of progressive difficulty.
