Scheduling is an important manufacturing tool. Manufacturing scheduling intends to minimize the production time and costs, by telling a production facility what to make, when, with which staff, and on which equipment.

The developed system is an advanced scheduler of production orders through the usage of different optimization criteria. Using a fully integrated graphic interface (finite capacity load chart, Gantt chart of resources, Gantt chart of production orders), it can be used in environments that use discrete or continuous finite production schemes.

The system uses an innovative algorithm that is capable of scheduling a large number of operations in a short period of time. It also allows its users to plan different plants, divisions or business units and manage as many sessions as needed (daily, weekly, simulations by request&). In each session it is also possible to manage an unlimited number of simulations.

The framework is flexible so that it can be integrated with existing ERPs.

The planning control is based on KPI (Key Performance Indicators) that can be configured by the user to help the decision making process. The implemented algorithms calculate the best operation sequence for a given optimization criteria (minimize setup time, waiting time, delivery after deadline, maximize the load capacity&).
