The company seeks a well established partner having pico projection technology that can incorporate the company's 3D engine for joint development of in vehicle applications in which date from the 3D engine may be projected and displayed onto a vehicle's the windshield.
For example, the developed application will be able to extract data from a navigation device or application (such as Google maps, etc.) and project the vehicle's true location on the windshield while driving.
The projected data will not be limited to a small size area on the windshield but instead will be dynamically superimposed over the windshield through real time processing.
The technology will be applicable both for security and commercial usage. The final product is intended to be installed during vehicle manufacture or in the after market.
Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements:
The sought projection technology should meet the following:" Be incorporated in a small size pico projector for day/ night in vehicle projection. " The projector in vehicle installation should be applicable whether in factory or after market." The projection technology could be either LED, Laser or TFT as long as it can provide maximum daylight display capabilities." The projection colors should be in the RGB spectrum (they may be waved according following proper analysis)." Energy consumption should be suitable to the in-vehicle environment and to known in vehicle capabilities." Safety issues should be addressed as deemed necessary.
