PS FP7-ICT-2011-7 - MOBILIAS - An innovative sustainable urban persons mobility concept. (10 IT 54V7 3IG2)
An international consortium is preparing a proposal for the FP7 ICT Call 7.
The project aims to develop an innovative sustainable urban persons mobility concept.
It is looking for a European Municipal Management Organization already managing the persons mobility issues in at least one European small/medium scale town interested to participate in the project as end user.

The objective of the MOBILIAS project is to simulate in a virtual reality a new concept (patent pending) for the person mobility in the urban and extra urban environment.
The main objectives of the proposed mobility concept are :
- be effectively attractive for the passengers that today utilize the private transport means, so discouraging the use of the private transport;
- be of easy and economic implementation and maintenance by the interested public authorities;
- minimize the impact on the environment;
- provide a high level of safety, both in the prevention of collisions and accidents, and in the prevention and reduction of failures and potentially critical situations of interruption or paralysis of the service,
- minimize the impact on the territory.
