Polish company from the food industry specializing in the manufacture of instant products is looking for cooperation in research concerning the evaluation of selected functional features of ersatz coffee. Test results confirming the healthy nature of the product will be presented on the packaging and advertising materials of the manufacturer. The preferred are entities from the area of R & D of the nutritional profile with the appropriate qualifications, and are eligible and have resources to execute that order. The institution performing the test will also be indicated on the packaging and advertising material as the body approving the results of tests carried out (in accordance with the rules applicable to nutrition and health claims as defined in Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council: (EC) No 1924/2006, as amended).
Pre-selected areas of research, in which the producer is interested, relate to such issues as:
- stimulation of appetite and aid in digestion
- beneficial impact on the functioning of the cardiovascular and nervous systems
- increasing the digestibility of milk and calcium
- a positive effect on the immune system - the presence of micronutrients, especially selenium
- stimulation of lactation
Before taking the first contact between the parties, it is necessary to send to a representative of Enterprise Europe Network (representing the Polish company) an initial offer which includes an indication of time of execution, cost levels, references, and any other areas of research relevant to the healthy nature of the product.
