Internet access with dynamically controlled speed (09 HU 50R7 3F0Q)
A Hungarian company offers internet access with dynamically controlled speed to companies, which provide internet services. A higher or lower speed than the subscribed speed can be chosen transitionally. The new product increases the competitiveness of service providers. The method works with C-language, Java code and Apache webserver. The company is looking for cooperative partners for licencing, commercial agreement with technical assistance, joint further development or financial resources.

The Hungarian company deals with telecommunication tools, network-integration, software development, and sales of services.
Today's ADSL broadband internet packages are not flexible. When the customer subscribes to an internet service, the speed of it can not be changed until a new contract.
A better and simpler way is the Broadband Policy Controller developped by the Hungarian company. If a customer rarely uses the internet but sometimes wants to download a whole film, or only uses the web on weekends, a connection with flexible band would be a perfect solution.
The Broadband Policy Controller provides a software to users who then will be able to decide band's scale. The customer can double, or triple the band thought a webpage, and with the same procedure split the speed of the internet access.
The faster connection costs more, the slower costs less, of course, that is why a dynamic log utility program is needed (OSS).
It generates an output, similar to Call Detail Record (CDR). The CDR generates every time, when the customer changes the speed of the access. The CDR contains the customer data, the time of the change and duration, and further important information.
The customers can have online information about the costs, and the received and sent data.
The system can filter the insolvent costumers.
This interface is totally adapted into the supplier's current webpage system: it can be a new menu item or a link.
It is totally compatible for both Linux and MS Windows. It can be run from the server, which powers the supplier's webpage, or an external server, which is in communication with network.

- Forwarding development requests to the offerer regarding new application areas (e.g. making it suitable to broadband cable-modem connection providing systems) and special needs (e.g. making it applicable for temporary Internet usage during company events) for facilitating future mutual development of the technology (e.g. to make it suitable for small and medium sized providers or even regional Internet service providers with as low as 1000 clients).
