Novel stone/soil separator for the agricultural industry (06 MT NRME 0ER9)
A Maltese inventor has developed an innovative tractor-drawn machine which when advanced through stone containing surfaces or fields, it excavates the soil and the contained stones are dislodged/separated from the soil and discharged into a stone collecting bin or container. The developer is looking for a manufacturing agreement with a partner interested in further development and assembly of the technology, and/or a licensing agreement.

The stone/soil separator of this type consists of a mobile frame connected to the tractor towing attachment. The machine has the means for digging up the soil and its contents from a depth of more than 35cm as it is advanced.
A conveyor system moves the excavated material up a ramp, where the soil is shaken off from the other contents which do not pass through the spaces in the conveyor, and depositing them into a container at the back of the frame.
The machine uses the hydraulics and drive couplings of the same towing tractor for its adjustable soil penetration and operation.
The developer is looking for a manufacturing agreement with a partner interested in further development and assembly of the technology and/or a licensing agreement.
Innovative Aspects:
The technology developed can separate stone from the soil in a fast and effective manner no matter the size of the field and the quantity of stone in the soil. The machine is attachable to any tractor make/model and operates using the drive and hydraulic couplings of the same tractor.
